NAMARA is designed by Daniel Moloney, an Irish born NY based designer.
Having studied at N.C.A.D. in Dublin, Daniel moved to NY where he started in career working at Halston.
This collection is inspired by Ireland's rich cultural history - the music, the poetry, the literature, and the great houses.
Having worked with The Earl & Countess of Ross at Birr Castle where I met the great Lady Miranda Iveagh has been a source of infinite inspiration.
Dromoland Castle, Gurteen de la Poer, Slane Castle and the great Luggala in Co.Wicklow where poets, philosophers, punks, rockers, junkies, and hangers-on all congregated in an eclectix mix. These have all been in my mind as I designed this collection. This has given it its Sophisticated Punk spirit but with an Aristocratic Sensibility.
NAMARA is at the crossroads of Rebellion and Refinement, Couture and Defiance.
